Eastman: VA Gov’s Race Proves Voters Want Political Outsiders

Cary, NC – Distinguished combat veteran and candidate for the U.S. Senate, Marjorie K. Eastman, issued the following statement after the results of Virginia’s Governor’s race:

“Last night’s victory for Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin is just the beginning! We saw firsthand that voters want a new voice representing them and not typical career politicians. As the only political outsider, combat veteran, mother and candidate to sign a term limits pledge in this race, I am more excited than ever to share my plans to represent North Carolinians in Washington. The days of old, stale, and retread candidates are behind us. It’s time for Frontline Leadership for North Carolina and I am excited to be the only candidate in the race to represent what our voters are looking for.”
