Cary, NC – Marjorie K. Eastman, U.S. Senate candidate and combat veteran, joined the Cary Chamber of Commerce’s First Responders Celebration. The event honored the hardworking members of the Cary Fire Department, Cary Area EMS, the Cary Police Department and the Wake County Sheriff’s Office. Eastman issued the following statement after the completion of the event:
“The men and women who serve our community and keep us safe deserve to be honored not just today, but every day for their selfless efforts to keep our communities safe. As a combat veteran and military spouse of a retired Army Ranger who completed 17 tours, I know the personal and family dedication required to serve in these jobs. In the U.S. Senate, I will always be the loudest voice for backing our frontline leaders here at home, ensuring they have the resources they need to complete their mission.”
