Marjorie K. Eastman’s Statement on VP Harris Visit to Charlotte

Cary, NC – Marjorie K. Eastman, U.S. Senate candidate and combat veteran, issued the following statement on Vice President Kamala Harris’ visit to Charlotte today:

“Vice President Harris has been sent to Charlotte to try to sell the Democrats’ more than $1 trillion infrastructure bill today but this community is all too familiar with bad infrastructure deals being pushed through without their input. What North Carolinians really want to hear from the Vice President is what this administration is going to do about the continued reckless spending in Washington while people across this country are being hurt by the supply chain crisis, record high inflation and skyrocketing gas prices. As I travel the state, North Carolina voters have told me they do not want empty promises from career politicians anymore. They want fresh leadership who will listen and fight for them in Washington.”
